The key to Canada's upset of the US, in the team event at the Pan Am
Games last year was Michelle Conway's standout performance on the balance
beam. In addition, she won Canada's first individual medal in women's
gymnastics in 20 years at the Pan Ams placing second on uneven bars. She
capped a great season helping Canada qualify a full team for the Olympics
at the world championships in China.
She looks to perform an original move on the beam at the Olympics. If it is
executed successfully it'll be named "The Conway". Gymnastics is not her
only talent. She's also a competitive five-pin bowler.
