An estimated 2 billion people from all corners of Earth will tune in to watch the April 29 nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton on television.

I will be among the global audience. My own plans include waking at 5 a.m. to watch the event with a very early traditional English tea and homemade cucumber sandwiches.

Of course, many royal watchers and curious tourists will make the trip to London where they will line the streets with the British for the big day, perhaps hoping to catch a glimpse of Wills and Kate after they tie the knot or just to take part in the hundreds of street parties expected to last into the weekend.

If you are headed to London for the event, a just released Frommer's e-travel guide -- The Royal Wedding -- has advice on how to enjoy the festivities and directions to all Kate and Wills' favourite London spots.

Contents include tips on finding a seat for the post-wedding processional and locating the best celebration parties; a full bike tour from Boris Bike that guides tourists past key sites related to the couple's courtship; a guide to Kate's favourite shops; and a list of restaurants and nightclubs Wills, Kate and Prince Harry are known to frequent.

Available wherever e-books are sold, Frommer's The Royal Wedding was compiled by royal expert Dinah Hatch and costs $7.99 to download.
