SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment Orlando is visiting Toronto this week and the team didn’t arrive alone. A couple of too-cute penguins came with the gang — joining their caretakers in coach for the plane ride – to help launch SeaWorld Orlando’s biggest expansion ever in the new Antarctica – Empire of the Penguin attraction. Opening in spring, Antarctica – Empire of the Penguin takes guests on an interactive journey that offers a different experience with each ride. Visitors will see the icy continent of Antarctica through the eyes of a penguin as they travel in a special trackless vehicle that mimics the movements of a young penguin exploring his surroundings for the first time. Guests can choose from two different levels of adventure. “When our little hero penguin learns to waddle and slide, we’ll feel what it’s like as the car moves and reacts to the storyline. When he takes his first swim or barely escapes danger, our guests will feel as if they’re right there with him,” Brian Morrow, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment creative director, said in a press release. There will also be opportunities to visit with a colony of adorable penguins in their massive, chilly habitat.
