Q: My five girlfriends and I usually get away every summer for four days. We're trying to find someplace to go this year and I'm having trouble finding a spot to please all. Some of the wishlist includes golfing, spas, swimming, tanning, horseback riding and nightlife. Just about anywhere in Ontario is game. Can you suggest a website or something that can lead me to possibilities? Any and every suggestion is most appreciated. Thank you.

Here are a few suggestions:

- For a short getaway, you really can't go wrong in the Niagara region where there is a wonderful variety of accommodation -- from full service resort-hotels with luxe spa to cosy inns. There are many golf courses, fine dining restaurants and other activities nearby.

- In Huntsville, Deerhurst Resort is a perennial favourite that offers plenty of activities. While Grammy Award-winner Shania Twain doesn't perform on the Deerhurst stage anymore, there's still plenty of nighttime entertainment.

In the daylight hours, you can try one of the two 18-hole golf courses then finish off with a rejuvenating spa treatment. There's horseback riding, a tennis court and boating, too.

- Another neat excursion that would give the girls some bonding time is to explore Muskoka by boat. The Muskoka Lakes Navigation and Hotel Co. has cruises that range from 90 minutes to two days aboard the historic RMS Segwun, Wenonah II and Wanda III.
