I’m concerned about travelling in hurricane season.
What are my options?
RT, Toronto, Ontario Travellers can now travel secure as some tour operators, like Transat Holidays, have recently introduced a new Hurricane Policy, designed to protect you in the unlikely event that you’re faced with such a circumstance. In fact, you’re covered just by choosing to travel with Transat Holidays: there is no cost to you and the coverage is automatically applied to all bookings made for travel between June 1 and November 30, 2006 to Mexico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and St Maarten/St. Martin. If a Category 1 or higher hurricane threatens your departure, you will be provided with a variety of options including selecting an alternate holiday destination, alternate dates or even a full refund. Certain restrictions apply, so please contact your local travel agent for full details.
