Where to obtain application forms

An application for a passport may be obtained:

By downloading the on-line form.
From any regional passport office.
At any Canada Post outlet.
From any Canadian mission outside Canada.

Where to submit your application form

Note: Even if your travel plans are not urgent, your documents should be sent by courier. This will help ensure the safety of your documents. In Canada and the United States

In person	In Canada At any passport office location At participating post offices in Ontario and Prince Edward Island In the United States Canadians residing in the United States who plan to submit their application form in person in Canada, must complete the application for Canadians residing in Canada.

Canadians residing outside Canada and the United States
In person	You may bring the completed application form to one of the following locations: The office from which you obtained the form. The nearest passport-issuing office in the country which you are residing in or visiting.

By mail	Mailed-in applications are not accepted from outside Canada and the United States.
